Additional testing of the small gas turbine/pressurized fluidized bed (SGT/PFB) Technology Unit that has been accomplished. The new 3-stage hot gas cleanup system evaluation indicates improvements are required. Modification to the first and second stage cyclones are in process. A 150-hour endurance/baseline test on the Rover gas turbine engine was completed. The Pilot Plant design continues. However PFB structural design awaits further technology rig testing to establish final definition of hot gas cleanup system. The procurement of long lead raw materials and of engineering drawings for material handling equipment continues.
