Study of the photoproduction of neutral pions in hydrogen in the region of the. delta. (1232) resonance

Differential cross sections have been measured for photoproduction of ..pi../sup 0/ mesons in hydrogen in the primary-photon energy interval 290--360 MeV at pion emission angles 10,30,50,70, and 90/sup 0/ in the c.m.s. The angular distributions have been analyzed by means of second and third degree polynomials in cos theta.
