Solid solutions in the La/sub 2/O/sub 3/-Fe/sub 2/O/sub 3/-MO (M = Ni, Cu) systems

Based on the results of chemical analysis it was shown that the most probable composition of the solid solutions forming in the La/sub 2/O/sub 3/-Fe/sub 2/O/sub 3/-NiO system is LaFe/sub 1-x/Ni/sub x/O/sub 3-lambda/ (lambda < x/2). With x-ray diffraction and chemical analysis the existence of solid solutions based on LaFeO/sub 3/ of the proposed composition LaFe/sub 1-x/Cu/sub x/O/sub 3-lambda/ (O < x less than or equal to 0.5; lambda < x/2) was established in the La/sub 2/O/sub 3/-Fe/sub 2/O/sub 3-/ CuO system. The unit-cell parameters of the crystal structures of these solutions were determined.
