Relativistic Y-scaling in the deuteron and the problem of extraction of the effective nucleon-momentum distribution

It is shown that there exists a scaling in the inclusive processes ed..-->..e'pn. Necessary and sufficient conditions of occurrence of the scaling are obtained and it is shown that they are satisfied in the quasielastic region. The existence of an asymptotic limit is proved and an asymptotic expression is obtained for the scaling function with systematic inclusion of virtualities, of the contribution from antiparticles, and from the nucleon Fermi motion in the deuteron.
