Title: Spectral sensitization of photoelectrochemical processes on bismuth oxyhalide electrodes

Journal Article · · Sov. Electrochem. (Engl. Transl.); (United States)
OSTI ID:5952833

Results are presented of an investigation of the process of the spectral sensitization of bismuth oxyhalide electrodes by the dye Rhodamine B (RhB). The interest in the investigation is due to a previously demonstrated use of these compounds as prospective photosensitivity carriers in recording systems with silver-free development, as well as the fact that spectral sensitization by dyes is one of the ways to expand the range of the spectral sensitivity of photoelectrodes in converters of solar energy.
