The features of the spectral sensitization of photoelectrochemical processes in bismuth oxyhalides by dyes of various classes have been studied. The quantum yield of the sensitized photocurrent (0.01-7% in the presence of hydroquinone and 5-10 times less in its absence) in BiOCl and BiOBr electrodes has been evaluated. The possibility of increasing the stability of sensitized electrodes by establishing a dynamic equilibrium between the adsorbed dye and the dissolved dye has been demonstrated.
