Addendum to users manual: EEA gasoline consumption model

Technical Report ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2172/5952388· OSTI ID:5952388
Revisions in the Gasoline Consumption Model developed for the Federal Energy Administration in 1975 are described. The model was modified in order to analyze the impacts of President's National Energy Plan relating to transportation. The transportation section of the administration's energy program includes the Automobile Excise Tax and Rebate Program on new cars related to fuel efficiency, and the Standby Gasoline Tax. This addendum is divided in five sections that describe the changes made in the model to complete the analysis of the transportation proposals; instructions for accessing and running the program; new parts of the interactive format of the program in which the user specifies the type of model run desired; new variables necessary to run the model; and values of the new data files.
