Magnetization decay effects in NbTi multifilamentary superconducting wires

Magnetization decay in NbTi fine multifilamentary wires is investigated and the rapid decay is observed in the wire with short distances between filaments and with copper matrix. This paper discusses the magnetization decay based on the proximity effect model.
