The Brehm Field, Pratt County, Kans., is a faulted, truncated anticline which experienced structural growth from Ordovician through Permian time. The faulting is dated as post-Mississippian, pre-Pennsylvanian. Therefore, closure against the fault is exhibited only in pre-Pennsylvanian beds whereas the Pennsylvanian closure is a normal anticline. The productive reservoirs in Brehm are Arbuckle, Simpson and the Lansing ''B'' zone. The drive mechanism is currently considered to be solution gas and gas cap expansion. Nine wells in the Brehm Field have produced 274,000 bbl of oil and 8,953 MMcf of gas to Jan. 1, 1965. The present rate of production is 350 bpd.
