An introduction to Prolog

This book introduces the assertional style of programming and describes how it differs from conventional ''machine-like'' thinking. With the help of examples it illustrates that how the Prolog systems are making extremely easy for humans to interact with computers. The author examines the different types of uses for Prolog such as a productive database, artificial intelligence, and recursive programming. The author also explains the differences between some of the major versions of Prolog, such as micro-PROLOG and PROLOG86, which are available for microcomputers.
