Turbo Prolog: An introduction to artificial intelligence
Book
·
OSTI ID:6984854
This introductory text combines a theoretical approach to the Prolog language with a practical approach to the Turbo Prolog version. Special attention is paid to the unusual characteristics of the language. Mechanisms such as recursion, backtracking, and list processing are referred to frequently throughout the book, accompanied by many clarifying explanations. The first part of the book presents an intuitive approach to the language, gives a glossary of logical terms, and tells how to load Turbo Prolog. The second part explains how to write and use a Prolog program, mainly using concepts of facts, questions, and rules. The third part is reserved for more complex operations, from list processing to modular programming, including character string processing, trace mechanisms, file management, and graphics.
