A phenomenological partial-wave analysis of the ..pi../sup +/d..-->..pp reaction is carried out in the interval (s)/sup 1/2/ = 2.09--2.42 GeV. Experimental data are used on differential cross sections, asymmetry of scattering, spin-correlation parameters of the two protons, and vector polarization of the deuteron. Within the framework of the model proposed a satisfactory description is achieved of the existing experimental information (1000 points) with chi/sup 2//N/sub D/F = 1.3 with the assumption of existence of the diproton resonances /sup 3/p/sub 1/, /sup 1/D/sub 2/, and /sup 3/F/sub 3/ in the isospin channel I = 1. Estimates are obtained for partial decay widths of the diproton resonances in the B/sup 2//sub 1/..--> pi..d and B/sup 2//sub 1/..--> pi..pN channels. Predictions are made for observables in the regions where measurements have not yet been performed, in particular for the energy dependence of ..delta..sigma/sub L/ and ..delta..sigma/sub T/ for the pp..--> pi../sup +/d reaction.
