The peak voltmeter described here is notable for circuit simplicity and short storage time. The two-channel peak voltmeter is designed to the CAMAC standard. It can measure the amplitude of pulses having a duration from 2 to 50 nsec at a repetition frequency between 0 and 100 kHz. The instrument was calibrated with atype G5-59 generator. It has been used for a year to measure pulse amplitudes in high-current electron accelerators which had the following parameters: pulse durations 3, 5, and 25 nsec; repetition frequencies 0 to 400 Hz.
