Study of the mechanism of the (/ital p/,. cap alpha. ) reaction in the nuclei /sup 9/Be and /sup 12/C at /ital E//sub /ital p//=50 MeV

Angular dependences of the differential cross section have been measured for the reactions /sup 9/Be(/ital p/,..cap alpha..)/sup 6/Li and /sup 12/C(/ital p/,..cap alpha..) /sup 9/B at /ital E//sub /ital p//=50 MeV. The experimental results are compared with DWBAFR on the assumption of the simplest direct and exchange processes. Structural characteristics of the nuclei taking part in the reaction are given.
