Pion nucleus single change exchange 1lambda the isobar-hole model

A microscopic calculation on the pion-nucleus single charge exchange reaction is performed in the framework of the isobar-hole model. Results are given for /sup 15/N(..pi../sup +/,..pi../sup 0/)/sup 15/O, where a flat cross section of about sigma=0.4 mb is obtained in the resonance region once all the pie ces contributing to the ..delta.. selfenergy in the medium are included.
