Hexahydro-1,3,2-diazaphosphorines. VI. Synthesis and investigation of 1,3-disilylated hexahydro-1,3,2-diazaphosphorines

1,3-disilylated hexahydro-1,3,2-diazaphosphorines were synthesized, and by means of /sup 1/H and /sup 13/C NMR spectroscopy it was established that in these compounds the six-membered ring is in the chair conformation with an axial orientation of the substituent on the phosphorus atom. By the sulfuration of the 1,3-disilylated hexahydro-1,3,2-diazaphosphorines the corresponding 2-sulfide were obtained, and it was shown that change in the valence state of the phosphorus atom leads to change in the conformation of the ring. In 2-(dialkylamino)hexahydro-1,3-bis(trimethylsilyl)-1,3,2-diazaphosphorine the exocyclic P-N bond is more labile than the Si-N bond toward proton-donor nucleophilic reagents.
