Zn/sup 65/ content of salps and euphausiids

Comparisons were made of the Zn/sup 65/ content in plankton collected during July, August, and November 1961 in the Pacific Ocean near the mouth of the Columbia River, 200 mi south, and 50 mi offshore. A gradual decrease with distance from the mouth of the Columbia River indicated that the river is the major source of this isotope.
