Journal Article · · Nat. Resour. Lawyer; (United States)

This year's review of significant air quality developments is in two parts. Part I covers judicial developments under the federal Clean Air Act (CAA). These are grouped under attainment status designations; health standards cases; state implementation plans; new source performance standards; enforcement, citizen suits, and inspections; measures to prevent economic disruption; and mobile source cases. Part II covers 1980 administrative developments under the CAA, including those involving state implementation plans, national ambient air-quality standards, new source performance standards, hazardous air pollutants, stationary source enforcement, and mobile source rules. Because there were no significant changes to the CAA in 1980, this report contains no discussion of legislative developments. 228 references.
