3s/sup 2/-3s3p and 3s3p-3s3d transitions in magnesium-like ions from Sr/sup 26 +/ to Rh/sup 33 +/

The 3s/sup 2/ /sup 1/P/sub 1/-3s3d /sup 1/D/sub 2/, and 3s3p /sup 3/P/sub 2/- 3s3d /sup 3/DDd3 transitions in seven Mg-like ions from Sr/sup 26 +/ to Rh/sup 33 +/ were observed with a laser-produced plasma and a 2.2-m grazing-incidence spectrograph. The wavelengths of the 3s/sup 2/ /sup 1/s3p /sup 1/P/sub 1/ transition are compared with tokamak observations and with theoretical values obtained with the relativistic random phase approximation.
