C-axis texture in YBaCuO superconducting thin films

YBaCuO superconducting thin films with zero resistance temperature above 77K have been prepared by e-beam multilayer deposition. The texture of C-axis normal to substrate in the thin films on Al/sub 2/O/sub 3/, MgO and ZrO/sub 2/ substrates were observed, and conditions and reasons indicating the texture were studied.
