Two-particle inclusive and semi-inclusive rapidity distributions of. pi. /sup + -/ mesons from K/sup -/p interaction at 32 GeV/c

The distributions in rapidity of ..pi../sup + -/ pairs, in various charge states, from inclusive and semi-inclusive K/sup -/p interactions at 32 GeV/c are presented and analyzed. The inclusive and semi-inclusive cross sections for these processes are determined. The experimental distributions are compared with the predictions of the quark recombination model.
