An instrument is described that is intended for automatic measurement of solar-radiation intensity, the amount of solar radiation over the period of time in which three of six prescribed intensity levels are exceeded, and the time for which these levels are exceeded. The operating principles and block diagram of the instrument are considered and measurement error is estimated.
