Piping, supports, and structural dynamics
- ed.
The primary objective of the Design and Analysis Committee of the ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping Division is to provide a forum for the dissemination of information and the advancement of current theories and practices in the design and analysis of pressure vessels, piping systems and components. This publication is comprised of technical papers on various topics of interest to the pressure vessels and piping industries and includes international contributions by authors from Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Japan, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the US. All of the papers in this volume were prepared for presentation in five technical sessions developed under the auspices of the Design and Analysis Committee for the 1993 ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping Division Conference in Denver, Colorado. The papers are organized in three sections as indicated in the following section titles: current issues in piping and support evaluations; dynamic response of structures; and pipeline dynamics. Individual papers have been processed separately for inclusion in the appropriate data bases.
