A preliminary study on the dosimetric properties of CaSo4: Dy ribbon (TLD-900)

Solid thermoluminescent CaSO4: Dy (TLD-900) dosimeters put on the market were studied. Preliminary results on annealing, glow-curve, short-time fading, dose and energy response as well as reproducibility of TLD-900 ribbons are presented. Applicability to very low dose radiation therapy and diagnostic dosimeter measurements are indicated.
