Block Lanczos software for symmetric eigenvalue problems. [SNLASO, DNLASO, SILASO, DILASO, in FORTRAN IV]
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:5724868
The Lanczos algorithm is a powerful method of computing a few eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a large sparse symmetric matrix. Selective orthogonalizing is an efficient method of maintaining the stability of the algorithm. This report documents the design and implementation of two distinct block Lanczos algorithms with selective orthogonalization. 2 figures, 23 tables.
