This bill would amend the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to provide for Federal energy conservation standards for showerheads and faucets. The purpose is to conserve water by improving the water efficiency of dishwashers, clothes washers, showerheads, and faucets. Test procedures will now include a measurement of total water use as well as an estimated annual operating cost.
