Responses to a public inquiry by the Canadian National Energy Board and econometric models are the bases for this report on energy supplies in relation to domestic demand and the supply/demand balances for hydrocarbons and electricity. The Board sees a 2.3% growth in total primary energy demand per year until 2000, an 18% drop from the forecast made in 1979. The report projects energy supplies for each fuel and source of electricity and the demand for each by sector. 111 figures, 149 tables. (DCK)
