Energy concepts and misconceptions held by the US public

The US Congress, being an elected body, reacts to public opinion on any issue, including the energy issue. But public opinion is considerably misinformed, as a survey of executives of the American Business Press reveals. This paper posits that the term energy shortage is synonymous with the term underpriced energy. With this definition in mind, some of the fears and misconceptions held by the US public are identified and analyzed.
