Suggestions for operating a successful fuel oil marketing business are presented. The quality marketers have a deep concern about keeping customers happy and offering a mutually acceptable bargain. The mutually acceptable bargain is the one the customer will accept and the one that also offers enough profit to keep the marketer from losing interest in his business. One such mutually acceptable bargain offered by a fuel oil dealer in New York City entails giving the very best service acid selling good reliable equipment for the lowest possible price.
