Instrument to detect vapor-nucleation in superheated liquid. [Use for neutron detection]

An instrument to detect the vaporization of superheated drops is described. Using this instrument, quantitative tests have been performed of the response of the superheated drop neutron detector, a tool for possible use in neutron dosimetry, area monitoring, and nuclear spectroscopy.
