To successfully achieve the goal of a cost-effective MHF treatment, careful logistical planning is required. Logistical planning often receives too little attention and may be a major cause of treatment failure. Four areas of logistical planning are discussed: wellsite design, standby equipment, frac fluid quality control, and mechanical considerations.
