Measurement of the parameter R in pp scattering at 0. 97 GeV and analysis of the results of experiments on triple scattering

The Wolfenstein parameter R has been measured in elastic pp scattering at 970 MeV for ten values of the angle. A phase-shift analysis of the pp data has been carried out with use of the values of the parameter R. As a result of analysis of the angular dependence of the parameters of triple scattering D, A, and R it has been shown that in the region 0.4--1.0 GeV the contribution from the spin-spin interaction to pp scattering shows practically no decrease.
