The authors construct mathematical models of atmospheric corrosion for various metals in industrial and coastal atmospheres, including electric power production plants, on the basis of experimental data. Recommendations are given to reference data on corrosion resistance in the open air for low-carbon steel, zinc, copper, aluminum, and alloy MA2-1 in various climatic and aerochemical regions of the USSR.
