Hydrogenation of brown coals of individual deposits of the Kansk-Achinsk Basin

The paper presents the results of hydrogenation of six brown coals from the Kansk-Achinsk Coalfield. An investigation was made of the effect that their properties had on the depth of conversion, yields and composition of liquid and gaseous products. In particular, the petrographic composition and the oxygen and organic bonds were, studied. Most of the Kansk-Achinsk coal appears suitable for hydrogenation, apart from that from Barandsk, which is high in fusinite. (13 refs.)
