Mist-annular flow in heated vertical channels

In this paper results are presented of a theoretical and experimental investigation on the distribution of liquid in a mist-annular water-vapor ascending flow in vertical heated tubes 0.15 and 1 m long. The effect of the specific heat flux and of operating variables on the distribution of liquid between the core and the wall liquid film at the end of the heated section and at 6 points at a distance of 1 m downstream of this section was investigated.
