Thermohydraulic characteristics of gas-vapor-liquid mist-annular flows in complex shaped channels

The paper presents experimental results on liquid distribution between the core and near-wall films upstream and downstream of a heated section in a circular tube and in an adiabatic gas-liquid flow in a channel with a rod bundle under conditions of hydrodynamic equilibrium and in the vicinity of grids-intensifiers. Empirical relations are given that correlate the experimental data obtained in a channel with a rod bundle, after an increase in the liquid film flow rates and a decrease in the nonuniformity of flow distribution along the perimeter of the rods downstream of the intensifiers.
