We report a comprehensive analysis of the crossing related reactions {ital p}({gamma},{ital K}{sup +}){ital Y} and {ital p}({ital K}{sup {minus}},{gamma}){ital Y} for {ital Y}={Lambda}, {Sigma}{sup 0}, and {Lambda}(1405). Our model, which incorporates both crossing and duality, reproduces all existing {Lambda} and {Sigma}{sup 0} cross-section, polarization, and capture branching-ratio data while providing useful constraints for the {Lambda}(1405) magnetic transition moments. While the {ital p}({gamma},{ital K}{sup +}){Lambda}(1405) cross section is predicted to be measurable at CEBAF ({sigma}{similar to}1 {mu}b), parity conservation leads to a model-independent suppression of the {ital p}({gamma},{ital K}{sup +}){rvec {Lambda}}(1405) polarization and {ital p}({ital K}{sup {minus}},{gamma}){Lambda}(1405) cross section ({sigma}{similar to}1 nb).
