The effect of the size of 2H--NbSe/sub 2/ microbridges on the shape of the current-voltage (I--V) and voltage-magnetic field (V--H) curves was investigated. It is demonstrated that a gradual transition occurs from microbridges whose I--V curves are characteristic of bulk NbSe/sub 2/ single crystals to microbridges whose I--V curves are unstable and nonthermal and then to microbridges whose I--V curves are inherent to Josephson elements. Effects of the Josephson type can be observed in hydrogen-intercalated NbSe/sub 2/ microbridges for contacts whose dimensions substantially exceed the coherence length of pure NbSe/sub 2/ specimens.
