Organochlorinated pesticides and polychlorinated biphenyls in water of selected Newfoundland rivers

The Index Station network of the Canada-Newfoundland water quality monitoring agreement consisted of 49 stations distributed throughout the province. Most of the stations have been sampled monthly since August 1986, except for 10 that were sampled bimonthly. Thirty-five stations were sampled annually from 1986-88 for organochlorine pesticides and polychlorinated biphenyls (OC-PCBs) in water. This report examines the results of the 3-year sampling for OC-PCBs.
