A subsea wellhead production apparatus is described which consists of: a subsea production flowline body having first and second passages opening on a surface of the body and means surrounding the body surface for coacting with a connecting means, a choke body having an inlet and an outlet extending therein from one of its surfaces and means surrounding the surface for coacting with a connecting means, means in the choke body for conducting flow from the inlet through a valve seat to the outlet, a valve member movably mounted in the body to coact with the valve seat to control flow through the valve seat, means for moving the valve member with respect to the valve seat, and remotely actuated means for releasably connecting the coacting means of the choke body to the coacting means of the flowline body with the first passage in communication with the inlet and the second passage in communication with the outlet whereby flow from the first passage to the second passage is controlled by the valve member.
