Quadrupole component of the charge density of 1p-shell nuclei

Data on scattering of electrons (E/sub e/ = 200--700 MeV) by the nuclei /sup 9/Be, /sup 11/B, and /sup 14/N are analyzed to determine the parameters of the charge density. As a result of the use of spectroscopic measurements of the charge quadrupole moment in analysis of electron scattering, a higher accuracy is achieved in determination of the density in comparison with the accuracy of the traditional method.
