Spectra of ..cap alpha.. particles from the three-particle decay of the 2/sup +/ state (T = 1) of the nuclei /sup 6/He, /sup 6/Li, and /sup 6/Be populated in the reactions /sup 7/Li(d,/sup 3/He)/sup 6/He* and /sup 7/Li(d,t)/sup 6/Li* at E/sub d/ = 30.7 MeV and /sup 6/Li(/sup 3/He,t)/sup 6/Be at E/sub <3/He$ = 38.7 MeV have been measured by a single technique. The spectra in all three cases have a smooth component and also a narrow peak corresponding to low energies of relative motion of the nucleons. A combined analysis of the experimental data has been carried out by means of two-particle approaches modeling the influence of the third particle. The spectra are reproduced by superposition of two processes. One of them: sequential decay through an intermediate nucleus with A = 5: describes the smooth component, and the other: emission of a ''dinucleon'': reproduces the narrow peak. The shape of the spectra is satisfactorily described also by the model of sequential decay through a nucleus with A = 5 accompanied by interaction of the nucleons in the final state. A number of indications are obtained of the large influence on the decay mechanism of the three-particle structure of the decaying nuclei.
