This paper reports that Barbados' drilling results came close to expectations, with 17 wells drilled in 1990. That was up from nine the year before. Footage roughly doubled at 83,541 ft. All wells were onshore, including three wildcats (19,200 ft) and 14 development wells (65,341 ft). Petro-Canada International Assistance Corp. is providing up to $2.9 million in support of a 26-well, cooperative drilling program by Barbados National Oil Co. The latter firm forecasts three wildcats and 17 development wells for 1991. Crude oil production from 93 wells (20 flowing, 73 artificial lift) improved 16.8% to 1,246 bpd. Gas output from one well stabilized at 3.190 MMcfd.
