Weak pion-nucleon interaction in the Skyrme model

The weak pion--nucleon interaction, being the most long-range componen of the P-odd interaction between nucleons, gives an important contribution to the magnitude of parity-violating effects in practically all processes in which nucleons take part. The weak {pi}NN coupling constant is poorly known (bounds on its magnitude have been obtained experimentally). We calculate the value of this constant in the Skyrme model. (AIP)
