The ..delta..E-E semiconductor-detector method was used to study experimentally the production of the fragments /sup 3,4,6,8/He and /sup 6,7,8,9,11/Li in the interaction of relativistic protons (E/sub p/ = 6.7 GeV) and deuterons (E/sub d/ = 3.1 GeV) with the isotopes /sup 112/Sn and /sup 124/Sn. The differential energy spectra of the fragments and the isotopic ratios of their production cross sections are obtained together with data on the dependence of the isotopic ratios of the fragmentation cross sections on the incident-particle energy and the fragment energy. We present a phenomenological model of fragmentation which is used to analyze the experimental data obtained.
