Role of endogenous substances in creating a background of enhanced radioresistance. Report 11. The nature of differences in radioresistance of yeast cells (experiments with different strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae)

Journal Article · · Radiobiology (USSR) (Engl. Transl.); (United States)
OSTI ID:5537104
The levels of endogenous radioprotective substances in various strains of radioresistant and radiosensitive yeast cells were discussed. Histamine, serotonin, superoxide dismutase activity, and lipid hydroperoxides levels in the yeast cells were determined.
