Application of intermittent ignition devices to commercial cooking equipment

Technical Report ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2172/5511184· OSTI ID:5511184
Noncontinuous pilot ignition devices would reduce natural gas consumption by cpommercial cooking equipment. The performance of spark-type or resistance-type electric ignition systems presently available for domestic cooking appliances was tested. It was concluded that most electric ignition systems designed for domestic equipment could be safely and efficiently applied to commercial cooking equipment. Field tests are recommended. (LCL)
