Radio continuum observations of cometary nebulae

The class of objects known as ''cometary nebulae'' is investigated through their radio emissions. Observations made with the Arecibo radio telescope at lambda12 and lambda21 cm are reported. Several objects show thermal radio emission characteristic of ionized gases.
