It is assumed that the families of the vecto mesons {rho}, {psi}, and {Upsilon} contain an infinite number of resonances with gradually increasing width. The requirement of asymptotic freedom leads to a relation between the electronic width of a resonance and the derivative with respect to the resonance number. Using this relation, we find that for the families of the {psi} and {Upsilon} mesons the moment of the experimental function {ital R}({ital s}) is equal to the moment of a bare quark loop plus an end term arising when the summation is replaced by an integration. These equations are satisfied with an accuracy of up to 1% for 60 moments in the {psi}-meson family and with an accuracy of up to 2% for 96 moments in the {Upsilon}-meson family. The electronic widths of these resonances and the {rho}-meson mass are calculated.
