Continuous separation and collection of particulate and water-soluble gaseous fluorides in the atmosphere (filter and impinger method)

Particulate and soluble fluorides present in air can be separated and collected by a continuous filter and impinger method. The air is first passed through an acid-treated prefilter to remove fluoride-containing particules and then through the impinger to remove water soluble fluorides. The fluoride is determined by a potentiometric or photometric method.
